For thousands of years, men have gathered in circles to share stories, offer their support, build communities and solve problems. Traditionally this was done around an open fire, creating a space for open conversation and connection. In our busy, technological world most of these traditions have been forgotten and many of us have lost that connection. This physical and social disconnection has led to many feeling more isolated and unable to talk about serious issues.

Solent Men’s Circle (SMC) offers a safe space to speak without fear of judgement. A space for confidential sharing of your challenges in life but also to offer your support to other men in the group. You are invited to share your innermost thoughts and feelings knowing that you will not be judged. All are welcome at SMC regardless of background, faith, beliefs or appearance. Every member of the circle is respected by all for who they are.
(18+ Only).

The benefits of joining a Men’s Circle can be transformational. Many report a feeling of improved self-worth, deeper connection to themselves and others, improved mental health and generally feeling better in themselves.

Weekly Circle starts Thursday 11th August - £10 per circle.

About Nigel Lancaster: I have been participating in, supporting and facilitating men’s groups and circles for several years, working with several online groups and charities. My work started by joining a circle to support my own issues in life and I have been a circle member or facilitator ever since. I have developed my knowledge based around a number of spiritual and psychological teachings but consider that every member of the circle is equal, we all participate to learn, develop and grow.
