To mark the winter solstice, a turning point of the year, come and join us in our annual candle lighting ceremony. This is a time of quiet reflection to remember our loved ones in this world or the next, and to appreciate all the love and joy they have brought to us. A time, too, to express our hopes and prayers for the year ahead, whether on a personal or a global level.
Enjoy quiet music, a few readings from HT Hamblin and an invitation to light a candle and dedicate its light to where it is most needed, silently or aloud.
All are welcome to stay for refreshments afterwards, to begin the festive season with Christmas cheer.
Due to the rising incidence of Covid-19 locally and the proximity of this event to Christmas, please consider taking a lateral flow test before attending this event and do not attend if you feel at all unwell.
